Former Netflix Execs Fiona Lamptey, Bec Mortimer, Amber Taylor and Vinnie Shergill Launch New

Bec Mortimer, Fiona Lamptey, Amber Taylor and Vinnie Shergill, four former senior Netflix executives who between them have decades of experience in the entertainment industry involving some of the world’s most successful shows, have joined forces to launch Juno Studios.
Headquartered in London, the new venture is described as an “innovative entertainment studio” with production capabilities and creative expertise across development, production, distribution and marketing.
“Our collective expertise in storytelling runs across development, production, marketing and distribution and we’re excited to bring our entertainment experience to our partners,” the founders said in a joint statement. “Juno Studios operates as an end to end studio with a collaborative cross-platform approach, so we can engage with audiences in the spaces they already love. We are collaborating with writers, filmmakers, on-screen talent, creators, cultural organisations and brands that are intentional about longevity and legacy; who want to bring value to audiences by cultivating belonging.”

Co-founder and marketeer Mortimer, who was responsible for bringing the Juno team together, set up Netflix’s first international office in the U.K. and has held senior leadership roles across Warner Bros, Universal and Entertainment One, helping cultivating successful fandoms for the likes of “Harry Potter,” the “Twilight” franchise and “Sex Education.”
BAFTA-winning film and TV exec Lamptey’s focus at Juno will be on partnerships with writers, filmmakers, producers, showrunners and behind-the-camera creatives. Lamptey held the role of director of U.K. features at Netflix from 2020-2023, where she oversaw development and production of BAFTA-nominated “The Wonder,” starring Florence Pugh, crime thriller “I Came By” by Babak Anvari, “The Kitchen,” a collaboration co-directed by Daniel Kaluuya and Kibwe Tavares, “Scoop,” the dramatic retelling of the infamous Prince Andrew interview, and Misan Harriman’s “The After,” which secured a 2024 Oscar nomination.
Taylor was the first marketing hire for Netflix U.K. and would spend nearly a decade with the streamer leading cross-channel film, series and brand campaigns. She has 20 years marketing and media experience in campaigns for the U.K. and globally at Netflix, 20th Century Fox and Warner Bros, working on the Harry Potter, Marvel and DC universes alongside blockbuster kids and family titles, as well as some of the U.K.’s biggest entertainment campaigns including “The Crown,” James Bond and “Avatar.”
Shergill headed up casting at Netflix EMEA and was head of creative diversity at BBC Studios, working with on-screen talent and creators. With an extensive network spanning the U.K., U.S. and EMEA, Vinnie has worked with a wide range of talent on both scripted and unscripted projects and was a named recipient of “Strictly Come Dancing’s” inaugural BAFTA TV award for best entertainment program in recognition of her role in shaping the show’s success. With her expertise in talent relations, Shergill has also worked on a number of shows for Comic Relief/ Sport Relief for the BBC, including “The Great British Celebrity Bake Off” and “Let’s Dance.”
